Bismillahir rahmanir rahim
Abdullah Bin Nujayy tabai Rahimahullah ke Walid ek martaba Maola Ali Alaihi as Salam ke sath jarahe the, unke zimme Maola Ali Alaihi as Salam ke wadu ki khidmat thi. Jab woh Siffin ki taraf jate hue Nainawa ke karib pahuche to Maola Ali ne Pukarkar Farmaya Abu Abdullah (Husain ki Kunniyat)! Furat ke kinare par Sabar karna.” May ne (Nujayy) pucha ke Khairiyat hay?
Maola Ali RadiAllahu Anhu ne farmaya may ek din Nabi E Karim Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam Ki khidmat me hazir hua to Aap ﷺ ki Aakho se Aasuon ki barish horahi thi, may ne Arz kiya ay Allah ke Nabi ﷺ Kya kisne aap ko gam dilaya, Khair to hay ki Aap ﷺ ki Aankho se Aansu bahe rahe hay? Farmaya aesi koi bat nahi hay, Balki asal bat yeh hay ki abhi thodi der pahele mere passe Jibreel aakar gaye hay, wah kahe rahe the ki Husain Alaihi as Salam ko Furat ke kanare Sahid kardiya jaega, fir unhone Muzhe se kaha ki Agar aap chahe to may Aap ﷺ ko is Mitti ki khusbu sungha sakta hu? May ne Ha kaha, to inhone apna Hath badhakar ek Muththi bharkar mitti muzhe de di, Bas is waqt se apne Aasuo par Muzhe kabu nahi hay.
Hadith English: Abdullah bin Nujayy Rahimahullah narrated from his father, that he travelled with Maola Ali (Alaihi as-Salam), and he used to carry his purifying water. When they were next to Nainawa on his way to Siffin, Maola Ali may peace be upon him called, “Be patient, Oh Abu Abdullah (the kunya of Husain), be patient Oh Abu Abdullah by the banks of the Euphrates.” I [Nujayy] said, “What did he say?”.
He [Ali] said, “I entered upon the Prophet (peace and blessing be upon him) one day and his eyes were flowing with tears. I said, ‘O Prophet of Allah ﷺ, has someone upset you? Why are your eyes flowing with tears?’. He ﷺ said, “No but Jibreel left me a while ago. He told me that al-Husain would be killed on the banks of the Euphrates. And he [Jibreel] said: ‘Would you like to smell his dust (the dust of the land where he will fall)?’ I said, ‘Yes’. He stretched out his hand and picked up a handful of dust and gave it to me, and I could not heEulp but weep.”
